This is the Nikon D5000, the camera I currently own and use to take my photos. I got it for Christmas about two years ago, and it is my first DSLR camera. I plan to save up for new lenses and continue using it for a long time. I try my best to bring this camera everywhere, but having a cell phone with a camera makes capturing photos more convenient. This flower photo was taken by Antilles Middle School in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. I took this  because I thought it captured the flower hanging very naturally. To me, the way it is edited shows both sides of a flower, the lighter, healthy and vibrant side, compared to the more darker, dull and aged side. x
